In The ‘Cac turns three-years-old today, and in commemoration we decided to try to define what, exactly, ‘Cac means.

‘Cac means never having to explain why you hate Macklemore. Or why you love him.

‘Cac means awkwardness and Falkwardness.

‘Cac means explaining where you go to school way too many times.

‘Cac means parody videos.

‘Cac means joining in on the memes. And sometimes it means inventing your own.

Sometimes ‘Cac means more serious things. ‘Cac means coming together to talk about the problems, because there is never enough of that.

Sometimes ‘Cac means going much too far. Sometimes it only means being accused of that.

A lot of the time ‘Cac just means rivalry, but we can also come together when there’s an outside threat or we can join arms in support of one of ours.

‘Cac means sharing opinions that not everyone agrees with. Especially things that they should agree with.

‘Cac means comparing commencement speakers and College Confidential commentary.

This was a surprise even to us: ‘Cac means rewriting each other’s essay prompts, multiple times.

‘Cac means bothering people over the holidays. Or avoiding them.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, ‘Cac means caring way too much about college rankings. No, seriously.
